The 18-hole Bukit Course at the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC), once hailed by six-time Major winner Nick Faldo as a "beautiful course", was re-opened for use yesterday after undergoing various improvements.
Clubs with jackpot machines will soon face tighter regulations as part of moves to protect patrons from the harms of gambling, said the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Thursday (July 20). The new measures, to be rolled out over the next two years, include more stringent criteria for jackpot machine permits, tighter quotas for the machines, and restricting access to rooms where they are housed.
After 12 months of renovation, the 18-hole par-72 golf course at Warren Golf & Country Club is finally ready for play. Members at the Choa Chu Kang-based property can now enjoy the same challenging layout as before, but with key upgrades to the greens and bunkers.
