1. Nitec in Fitness Training Course

The Nitec in Fitness Training course is a newly launched 2-year full-time program at ITE College Central to equip students with knowledge and skills to provide fitness training to individuals and groups so as to improve the physical fitness and overall wellness of participants. Students graduating with a Nitec in Fitness Training certification would be able to assume the responsibilities at the entry level in fitness associations, fitness clubs and recreational clubs. Students graduating with a Nitec in Fitness Training certification would be able to assume the responsibilities at the entry level in fitness associations, fitness clubs and recreational clubs.

Our Industry Attachment (IA) programme aims to provide an avenue for students in the Nitec in Fitness Training course to apply the knowledge and skills acquired through our institutional training to the real business environment. Our 10-week attachment programme will commence in two batches from July to September 2016 and October to December 2016 respectively.

We are excited about the potential partnership with your organisation and would like to seek your support by offering Industry Attachment opportunities to our Fitness Training students from College Central.

2. Institute of Technical Education

The Industry Attachment (IA) programmes below offered by ITE College Central aims to provide an avenue for students to apply the knowledge and skills acquired through their institutional training to the real business environment, while value-adding to your Club’s operations and thereafter to be employed after their Industrial Attachments.

Members may contact the respective Course Coordinators and Section Heads if they have Internship opportunities in their Clubs, of which detailed learning outcomes, task lists, internship period and contact details are listed in the attachment. Students graduating with a Nitec would be able to assume the responsibilities at the entry level in these positions.
